UtilityAP merged with Certus

You have been redirected here because in July 2008 UtilityAP merged with Certus, creating one of New Zealand’s largest specialist IBM software and services partners.

The key driver behind the merger was the opportunity to bring together two organisations with niche product and industry expertise to form a unified practice offering a comprehensive range of IBM-based consulting and implementation services.

At the time, CEO Brian Allen said, “UtilityAP is the only IBM-certified Maximo sales and support organisation in New Zealand. The expertise UtilityAP provides with the Maximo product makes a valuable and complementary addition to the market leading services Certus delivers across other IBM products such as FileNet, Domino and WebSphere.”

Since that merger, Certus has acquired three additional Australian companies – Eos Solutions, an IBM web and collaboration services specialist; Software Traction which was IBM’s Rational partner of the year; and Focus Strategies and Solutions, a business intelligence and information management consultancy, and IBM’s Cognos partner of the year for four years running.
