Ministry of Health improves message processing with IBM DataPower

The New Zealand Ministry of Health has improved its XML data handling – a key first step in developing a smart but simple service oriented architecture (SOA) – thanks to an IBM DataPower implementation.

The first organisation in New Zealand to implement an IBM WebSphere DataPower appliance, the Ministry is using the firmware solution to improve the speed and processing efficiency of the online claims it receives from pharmacies around the country.
