Portal and Lotus User Group - Brisbane

When IBM Lotus Notes and Domino 8 were released on 21 August, they were acclaimed as delivering on IBM’s promises of the last two years with the inclusion of major improvements in usability, open-standard composite application integration, integrated office automation tools and security, performance and manageability improvements.

In conjunction with the IBM Collaboration Summit, the September meeting ofthe Portal & Lotus User Group will focus on the latest release of IBM’s flagship messaging and collaboration product and explore its offerings from

As a representative of one of Queensland’s largest Notes & Domino sites, Ben will share his impressions of the version 8 release and what it means for Griffith University.

One of the featured highlights of the Notes & Domino 8 release is the support for composite applications. Ben will share his perspective as an application developer and demonstrate some composite application examples.
