Cross-brand pharmaceutical solution
A Certus team has won a tender to provide a new product development solution to enable a large pharmaceutical company to automate and co-ordinate the process of planning, selecting, sourcing and developing all private label and exclusively branded merchandise. The solution will be hosted on Amazon Web Services and will combine IBM Portal, Business Process Manager, FileNet Content Manager and Cognos. Business Partner of the Year 2012
At the IBM Business Partner Summit in Sydney in March, Certus was announced Business Partner of the Year 2012 for the Tivoli brand and for WebSphere. Ged Roberts, Director Applications and Integration, accepted the WebSphere award and Graeme Reardon, Business Development Manager Asset Solutions accepted the Tivoli award on behalf of the company. This is the fourth consecutive year that Certus has been recognised for its Tivoli expertise.
BA and IM restructure and expand
Certus has announced a significant business restructure, splitting the management of two lines - Business Analytics (BA) and Information Management (IM) - as a result of significant growth in both areas. Two new appointments have been made to lead the business lines - Julien Redmond as General Manager, Information Management and Dannielle Nguyen as General Manager, Business Analytics. “Though Information Management and Business Analytics do often go hand in hand, they now need to be managed as two very distinct offerings due to their increasing complexity,” said Tom Reich, Certus General Manager, Information Management and Business Analytics. “These changes have been designed to adapt to the rapidly changing market dynamics and the growing solution portfolio IBM provides in both Business Analytics and Information Management.”
Mobile banking with IBM Worklight
We have begun developing a new hybrid mobile banking application for a major New Zealand bank. We're using the IBM Worklight platform - the first Worklight implementation in New Zealand. This project, and another mobile payments application being developed by our Australian collaboration team, should firmly establish our mobile development capabilities.
End to end services at Melbourne Water
We’ve just begun the first stage of a two year asset management implementation at Melbourne Water in partnership with Fujitsu Australia. It’s another project in which all three of our lines of business are engaged – EAM, Integration and Information Management. Alongside the asset management team, we'll have experts in infrastructure design, WebSphere solution architecture, information management and data migration.
