Certus named Tivoli Partner of the Year
April 2010
IBM Premier Business Partner Certus Solutions was named 2009 Tivoli Business Partner of the Year at the recent IBM Software Group Business Partner Council in Sydney. Australia and New Zealand Channel Manager for IBM, Sue Hope, presented the award to Certus Australia Managing Director, Annette Henry, in front of an audience of IBM Software Group representatives and business partners from the Asia Pacific region.
"This award illustrates the exceptional performance of our Enterprise Asset Management team across Australia and New Zealand, and their proven expertise in addressing complex business requirements with IBM Tivoli Maximo," Annette Henry said.
Certus has a strong track record in Tivoli Enterprise Asset Management solutions, and has been working with the Maximo product for seven years.
The award was given at a time of solid growth for the Enterprise Asset Management practice, with its expansion into Australia and an extensive portfolio of new Maximo projects and enhancements to existing installations. Australian activity has included Java development and customisations for a major Maximo upgrade at Sydney Water, and projects at ConnectEast and DownerEDI Engineering. Meanwhile the New Zealand EAM team has recently upgraded Maximo at Port Taranaki and Genesis Energy (for which Certus provided an IBM technical lead) and is currently on site at Alinta ENZ and Fulton Hogan. New installations are under way at Massey University and Pacific Steel. In 2009, Certus completed a major upgrade and development project for the University of Auckland.
"As the impact of the global financial crisis fades, it's great to be recognised as the top IBM partner to work with in the asset management field," added EAM general manager and Certus director, Maarten van der Zeyden.
